Dear Agent,

I like asking, "What if?" because that is how The Love Scrolls series started, and I am delighted to inform you that the, "What if?" is now a reality. After more than ten extraordinary years of discovery, The Love Scrolls, a nonsequential rhyming epic of eight books, including a 700 page anthology is complete and ready to be discovered by the world.

My reputation in college was affirmed when the poetic versus and poems they asked me to recite at the lunch table turned into a realization. A fellow student from the performing arts class asked me to write a poem which was to be read before they performed that very evening. In about four short hours I wrote a poem called The Gap Between Us. After seeing the response from the audience with some individuals even standing, I knew I was on to something great.

If you're like me, I never cared much for poetry, most seemed to me like a heart having a private conversation with the brain, and epics, they are often so old they seem to complicated. Yet I also knew that some of my greatest joys and experiences were between the lines of the great books, and I was always enamored by the poetry of Shakespeare and Poe. So I thought, what if I could take the best of both worlds, my love of great stories and great poems, and combine them into an epic that is at once deep and complex but accessible and easy with bite sized poems. It's Footprints in the Sand but with deeper revelation.

What if Footprints in the Sand were more than one poem, what if we could follow those footprints from the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action all the way to the denouement? What if those steps turned into not just a walk but a mission, a mission to restore love? Then it becomes a journey, my journey that has just begun, because love in all its forms is a continuous battle worth fighting for, and there is no greater challenge, no greater cause and no greater purpose under the sun.

So to save a marriage, to save a soul, to make peace, to restore the bonds of family and God, and indeed, to preserve humanity itself, I present to you The Love Scrolls. While I realize books, even book series come and go, talent lasts forever, and talent is my weapon which I sharpen when I write. Now with an arsenal of eight books love can begin its offense, but saving love will be a long and complex journey. I will stop my work when love has victory, but I promise you that with your help, the battle now will be easier and more beautiful.
